Battery backup installation questions from Scotts Valley customers

How long will a battery run my home?

That depends on the battery size and what you run. One typical battery can carry lighting, refrigeration, internet and outlets for many hours, and for days with solar recharging it. Central air and electric ovens drain it quickly.

Are there incentives for batteries in California?

Incentive programs change often. California's Self-Generation Incentive Program and federal tax credits have both supported home batteries; check current eligibility before you buy, and we can point you to the official program pages.

Can a battery be installed in a garage in Scotts Valley?

Usually yes, with required clearances, impact protection and in some cases heat detection. Fire code limits where batteries may go, so we confirm the location during the site visit.

Do you offer battery backup installation near Scotts Valley?

Yes. We provide battery backup installation throughout Scotts Valley and nearby Mount Hermon, Felton and Santa Cruz. Call (888) 633-7804 to check availability for your address.
