New construction electrician questions from Santa Monica customers
Do you bid from plans?
Yes. Send your drawings to get a detailed bid. If you do not have electrical plans, we can lay out the system with you.
What electrical does an ADU need in Santa Monica?
Most ADUs are fed by a sub panel from the main house, which often means upgrading the main service. Some owners choose a separate meter. We size it from the ADU's loads.
What does Title 24 require for new homes?
California's energy code includes requirements for high-efficacy lighting and controls, solar photovoltaics on most new homes, and readiness for EV charging, battery storage and electric appliances.
